I was born in a small town in TX, but reared in a large TX city. I had a very uneventful childhood.
After graduating from a large TX university, I moved to Europe to live and work. I enjoyed living in Europe and traveled as much as possible.
My wonderful son was born in Germany.
My husband, son, and I lived and traveled all over the US and moved back to Europe where I again worked for many years. My son had the advantage to attend schools in Europe, but the Gulf War broke out and we moved back to the US.
My marriage ended.
I since have reared a wonderful and loving son, married a much younger and remarkably loving and kind man, and completed several terminal degrees and certifications.
I work full time and teach part time at local universities.
I also am the lucky human "mother" of 3 wonderful Dachshunds (wienar dogs) who provide much love and comfort in my life.
I am currently working on being a better human.
