Thanks, everyone. Your presence in my life has gotten me through some rough times during the last year.

Maddy is so cute and loveable but I guess it's time I took a picture of Dolly.


Right now, Dolly and Madison are playing in the back yard with Cooper, the spaniel from across the street, whose family is away on vacation. Cooper was crying from loneliness and my two mutts will cheer him up.

My birthday present is that Albuquerque cooled down a bit to 88 degrees. I found the tomato worm that was eating my tomatoes and it is off to tomato heaven.

Butrflynet sent me three lovely birthday cards. Her health is improving after her surgery. She is enjoying volunteering for the Obama campaign.

My son got a very good new job and has finally sold his Florida house. My grandson and his family (and great grandchildren) will be moving to Albuquerque in August. He has recovered enough from the terrible auto accident that he can make the drive from North Carolina.

Life is good and much better than the last year.
