Google/Doubleclick

What do people feel about this melding? I don't like it at all. I've spent a good deal of time cancelling Doubleclick cookies, etc. and strongly oppose the idea of a Google/Doubleclick combination.

It's almost like blackmail - I need Google, but hate the idea of getting involved with Doubleclick. Is Google really worth it???
