Today is the day I was the victim of a fly-by winging.
As I made my way to my car at lunch, a bird came out of no where and hit me.
I still don't know what it was the bird was after but I do know this: it takes a special kind of person to get hit by a bird while walking to their car.
I have no idea. It was a brown blur as it whizzed past me.
It hit my arm. Thank god it didn't take me in the head.

Didn't happen today, Bella, but a pigeon somehow got trapped in my garage, and while I was doing the laundry, it flew right in my face. I thought I would never get it outside.

I would bet that it was a mockingbird. They are very possessive about their nests, and if you are anywhere in the vicinity, they WILL attack.
Once I was doing some yard work, when I went too near to a mockingbird nest. Everytime that I bent down, the miserable creature slammed me in the butt.

The Northern Mocking Bird likes to chase people and other animals especially when they get close to their nest!

Ahh. From one mother -to-be, to another.
That's actually kinda neat.
When she gets too close to your house after your baby is born, maybe you can knock her upside the head with a broom.
