Is this for real? Play a song backwards and the artists supposedly put "evil" messages on them...

I doubt it but who knows. No offense Quincy, but when I heard about that in the past, I never cared. I wondered why the heck someone would even play a song backward.
None taken, but its interesting that the people who claim this stuff is going on also say the brain can interpret messages backwards, sounds a bit far-fetched to me, anyone know if it's true?
I think this is a perfect example of the power of suggestion. If you want Led Zeppelin to talk backwards about the antichrist, he will.
But the pókemon and britney spears one was great

I doubt it is true but then again doctors and scientists don't know what the brain is fully capable of doing or not doing. I think it is a bit far-fetched like you said though.
Great link btw
I also think the only ones who could answer your original question is the artists themselves.
Actually, if you play 'Another One Bites the Dust' by Queen backwards, it can easily be interpreted as 'smoke marijuana', if that's your sort of thing, I guess...
I tend not to listen to my music backwards therefore I never hear any evil messges.
Maybe if you play an evil song backwards it says nice things. We should try it.
Do you know what you get when you play a country song backwards?

You get your truck back, your wife back, your dog back.....
I don't believe this stuff at all. I listened to the stairway of heaven backwards, and it didn't sound like anything. But if you really tried, you could probably make it sound like whatever you wanted. You could probably find a way to make a Marilyn Manson song played backwards say "Jesus is the King" or something like that. Even if it really sounded like eej ow es a ing, or some other random thing. If people want to believe it sounds like something, they'll hear it. Even if nobody else does.
Wow! That "Fire on High" one was, like, totally insane.
