Carpet Distributors-How do i get an account?

Hi, i am hoping to open a carpet shop soon, i have the premises, i have a partner and the money, we are both sucessful carpet fitters, but we cannot find anyone to supply us!!

The people we have contacted have said that they will not supply us because they are already supplying other people in our area.

How do we go about this, how can we find suppliers in the country that will be willing to supply us?

We want certain lines that we know sell well, eg Gala, we have trawled the internet but are getting nowhere.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as we are thinking this idea will not become a reality.
