I'm up posting at 1:30 am because I spent about 6 hours writing SQL queries for a uni assignment today, and I've now got them whirling through my head like a tornado.
Me too except its 2.30am! but its turn in your assignment tomorrow anxiety for me.
I keep going back over it and making little changes to the layout and worrying cause the discussion is short or not properly referenced or something.
What course is your poison? It's 2:30 now here too.
Napoleon, who was famous for his ability to get along with little sleep, said that he could go to sleep by imagining his mind as a chest of drawers. Each drawer contained one of his thoughts, and he merely closed all the drawers when he was ready to sleep.
Concentrate on your breathing, focus on thinking each breath in, hold and expelling the breath. Your mind will throw up occasional thoughts. Acknowledge each thought as it arises, and go back to focusing on your breathings. Sleep will creep up on you unaware. let it come. Pleasant dreams.

I'll try this, Asherman. I have trouble with insomnia sometimes. I want to sleep but my mind is racing.
You're just a stupid cat, Stray. Sleep should be of no consequence to you.
Stick to the cat threads and let us people discuss sleep.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............................
what are you studying now, Wilso?
Database management systems.

You could be onto a real winner ther wilso.
I am also working my way into GIS/GPS systems although only into the 2nd module. I am currently getting to know Mapinfo. The kind of info that will/is already available for retail decision making via sql queries is phenomenal.
Wilso, are you looking to become a DBA?

DBA - dumb, bloody, Australian?
Sheeesh!

No, the Database management is just one subject on my way to an IT degree. Which I will most likely use to become a teacher in Thailand.
Excellent, Wilso.
Margo => DBA = Database Administrator

After this subject, I'll be happy if I never see another database! Most likely major now is network engineering.

My business card currently describes me as a Database Co-ordinator!
But then - you can put anything on a business card!
I got 24.5/25 for that assignment. The top mark. So I guess the sleeplessness was worth it.
Now just the final exam on Monday afternoon, and I can put another subject to bed.
