Wish Me Luck

After a 20 year absence from each other, Cirkus has pulled a tight heavy two hour set of music together and will play our reunion concert in Raleigh tonight. It's shocking that the guys in the band have put this show together in four days of rehearsal after such a long lay off. I'm proud of them. We're tight.

Local buzz is high and we're expecting a big crowd. Local media has been good to us.

I have worked out and trained diligently and hard to be able to put everything I have into a solid two hour set. Most YOUNG bands can't rock at top speed for two solid hours.

We have had so many sound, light and stage technicians volunteer to help with this show that we have had to start turning people away, and I am receiving emails from all over the southeast from people who are coming.

We have a 4 camera dvd being made, and special effects are in place. This will be great fun. Wish you guys could be there.

Now it's the party! Cool Very Happy Mr. Green Drunk Cool Drunk Twisted Evil Drunk Razz Drunk etc.

All the best to you, Bear. I wanted all my life to be a musician/singer, but had no talent. I love it when someone else does it.

It went great... we put the too old to rock question to bed with great ease......put on a clinic on how to rock for the two opening acts of young guys...the band was flawless, and for my part I was in constant motion for 2 hours, climbing up the pa stacks, jumping and diving and never hit a sour note. We have a dvd being edited which should be ready by next week.

The concensus of opinion is that we were even better last night than we were twenty years ago with zero change in energy level and believe me, we were one of the most hard hitting and energetic around.

We also, after 20 years, put this 2 hour plus show together in 4 days of rehearsal.

squinney wasn't around in my rock days, so she finally got to see what she has been hearing about and listening to on cd for 15 years.

We saw lots of old fans and old friends in the industry, and that was great. Lots of hugs and back slapping.

I wouldn't have missed it for anything. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

When we get the dvd we will post clips to our web site and of course the whole thing will be for sale through squinney's ebay store along with our cd.

I am writing new material for a second studio project right now.

I have a home studio set up.
