There's a new website out there called Pandora. What makes this different .... you enter an artist, and it will find that artist and other music that has been cataloged as similar. 100% Free. It's a great way to get turned on to new music.

Here's The Pandora Website, and just click Create New Station to get started.

Yeah, I read that in the FAQ, something about licensing restrictions. Sorry I didn't note that in the original post.

I recon I (and anyone else outside the us) just could use a proxy-server in america.

Never really tried it, would that work?

Don't get me lyin! I'm not sure if the host site can differentiate between your IP and the proxy's ... that stuff is over my head, and I don't want to pretend like I know what I'm talking about. Embarrassed

I've built a Miles Davis station, and it sent me tunes from John Coltrane, R.J., Gypsy, and Don Tex. No commercials, just a few web ads to ignore.

also no workie if company (mine) restricts the use of all streaming-type sites.

i used to listen to the window radio tuner throughout the day.

now i have to bring in CD's... Confused
