Hey, does anyone know the songs from these three adverts, currently on british t.v?
The magners advert's lyrics start 'It's the time of the season..'
Tesco Clothes (with woman riding horse in white dress) 'I won't be seeing you for a long while...'
Debenhams advert (with two women by a pool, and a man saying he is a struggling actor) 'summer in the city......(something)...pretty!'
Thanks guys, hope you can help!

PQ it's hard to say since I've never seen/heard these advertisements but...
the third one (Debenhams) sounds like it might be "Summer in the City" by The Lovin' Spoonful.
"time of the season" is the Zombies
bloody hell pq, I'm still working on the simplification of form poser. Handed it in yet? How did you get on?
Awww steve you remembered!
I hand it in in 2 weeks, although my final piece has got to be hung on weds for the show. Which is why I shouldn't be on here. hehe.
Oh, and thanks guys for the songs, we just need to crack the tesco one now!

Well good luck with that. I did a bit of googleing re "simplification of form" and learned a little (very little) myself so thanks for that. Let me know if I can help with any further projects
Googled it and came up with this. The band is Camera Obscura and the song title is Country Mile.
Silver Birch against a Swedish sky
The singer in the band made me want to cry
We're all inside our own heads now
We are leaving new friends
We are leaving this town
I wish you could be here with me
I would show you off like a trophy
The road it winds, it twists, it turns, now my stomach burns
Once again I'll be the foolish one
Thinking a blink of these lashes would make you come
Don't you worry, don't get in a state
I don't believe in true love anyway
Who's being pessimistic now
I could document this as our first and our last row
The more you look forlorn, the more to you I warm
I won't be seeing you for a long while
I hope it's not as long as a country mile
I feel lost
