These turtles are NOT native to our local little lake in our park, which is a couple of blocks from our home. I guess we can thank someone from the past who got sick of having them as pets. Mad

Reyn, what delightful pictures. I love turtles and all sorts of wild life. I have no idea what has happened to all of my creatures here.

Do you recall the miniature Japanese turtles? When I was pre kindergarten age, I had one named Oscar. Whoever sold them, painted their little shells with different colored paint. It turned out to be very bad for the shell.

No, Letty, I'm not familar with them.

The reason the ones in the pictures stand out is that I know for a fact that we do not naturally have turtles in our habitat.

By the way, the subject line of this thread was a take on the chocolate ads.

Ah, I see, Reyn. Chocolate turtles wouldn't last long in your pond. Yes, if those turtles are misplaced, it may have something to do with former owners or it may have to do with migration.

Or......flushed down someone's toilet? That would make a good script for a creature film.

THE TAINTED TURTLES THAT ATE UP BRITISH COLUMBIA. Razz

Hmmm. Wonder where Mr. Turtle is this early morning.

They are cute however I am not quite familiar wit these animals!!! By the way Jusme it is very simple to upload image...you have to upload them from an image hosting site first...If you don't know any you can try one of these two:

Edit (Moderator): URL Removed. Note: Jusme and hustlers are the same user, and along with other user accounts he is spamming the forum with his image sharing URLs.

I usually used them to host my pictures!!!
