Some time ago, I downloaded the Quicktime Player. Naturally, as those things are wont to do, Quicktime installed inself in my start menu. Not wanting this, I went to msconfig, and removed Quicktime from my startup menu.
What I found, is that everytime I play something on Quicktime, it AGAIN reinstalls itself on my start menu. No biggie, but a pain in the butt. Is there any way to avoid this?
I don't know. But have you tried uninstalling Quicktime altogether, using the "Software" item in your System Control, or whatever the English name is? After this, you can install Quicktime again, making sure to unselect the radiobutton that says "create entry in start menu" or whatever. This should solve your problem.
Good idea, Thomas. I will try it!
