Diane, The natural world is mind-boggling. We've got satellites zipping around in space, but no one has yet been able to duplicate the flight of a bird.

They don't know how electricity works?

Yup, the Internet is an major mind-boggler. Made some very good friends.

Slappy and Deb, The Imus interest is mind-boggling.

Aeroplanes & flight!

Every time I fly, I'm amazed that such a huge chunk of heavy machinery, chock-full of people & luggage, actually makes it off the ground! .... say nothing of float above the clouds & take you to far-flung places in such a short time! It tell you, it's absolutely incredible!

Every once in a while, I imagine that I hear a talking rabbit...

It totally boggles my mind.

What were we just talking about ?

msolga, I'd just as soon not think too much about the mysteries of aviation when I'm in a plane. On the ground, I'd be happy to be boggled.

LionTamer, If you're hearing talking rabbits, something is going on with your mind, but I don't think that "boggled" is the word that applies.

dadpad, SPECtacular and mind-boggling. Thanks for the link.

Laughing

Very wise, Roberta!

I mean, If it's not going to do what it's supposed to be able to do (stay air-borne!) then it's too late, anyway!

Well...it's not like parrot fishes make all the sand. Probably a very small percentage of it.

However, here is another mind boggling fact on the same page you already linked to:

Quote:
Some male parrot fish maintain harems of females. If the dominant male dies, one of the females will change gender and color and become the dominant male.

msolga, The chances of my ever going on another plane are minimal. However, just in case it happens, let's change the subject. Shocked

Yup, stuh. Mind-boggling but true. This happens with a number of fish. Lots of studying going on concerning environmental factors and genetics.

Not mind-boggling, but it's nice to have someone around who's reliable and dependable.

The concept of pizza delivery is mind-boggling to me. I'm not kidding. It just seems amazing to me that when we are hungry, we can dial a phone number and FOOD WILL COME TO US. What would our hunter-gatherer ancestors say? That just boggles my mind.

Bill, I know what Brooklyn is. I know where Brooklyn is. But I don't know WHO Brooklyn is. Enlighten me.

Deb, Yes, reliability is comforting.

Shapeless, Yes, food delivery boggles the mind. Not just pizza. I can get pretty much anything delivered here. Love it. And our hunter-gatherer ancestors would be wide-eyed boggled. Shocked

No worries, darlin. Did you forget; Dad taught me not to share the 3 B's. I doubt many know just how pretty you are either... though that avatar is the bomb as far as cute.

The annual migration of leatherback turtles from the coast of Central America to the Galapagos has begun. It will be possible to follow the progress of each turtle via satellite hookup. Mind-boggling. I'm rooting for Billie.
