I think dys is getting exactly what he wanted from this thread.

Apart from being about four or five pages long, it ought to be obvious that it ain't nobody's business what this thread is about . . .
Ragman wrote:However, as his partner in crime Howard Stern has shown...there's money in them thar satellites. It's unclear how long that will last, too.
I read a fairly convincing analysis somewhere (where? I forget... can try to find it back if need be) that satellite radio won't be a good fit for Imus. One reason is that Stern evidently HATES Imus. (I didn't realize that -- they have this huge rivalry.) Another is that Imus will have a much harder time coming up with the guests that made his show halfway respectable rather than just a tamer version of Stern's show.
Eva wrote:In his original post, it sounded like Dys has something to say but is afraid to say it. Which doesn't really sound like the Dys I know, but it could be. The idea that he was really uncomfortable about something bothered me. Still does. Did the thread get derailed? Did Dys give up?
If I'd ever had thought this thread was about anything serious, I wouldn't have sent the first response that I sent.
"monday nothing, tuesday nothing
wednesday and thursday nothing
friday for a change a little more nothing
saturday once more nothing
******* nothing, sucking nothing
flesh and sex, nothing
church and times square, a whole lot of nothing
nothing, nothing, nothing"
About IMUS/Stern smackdown:
Since when does it matter if Imus and Stern hate each other? In fact, just the opposite. That dynamic is fuel that makes for good theater and as we all know what that does to ratings! (WWF...etc)! Could be something there if someone knew how to harness it.
I agree with your assessment of Imus and his coming up with a format that could sustain the interviews and guests he used to have. It probably wouldn't fly. (e.g. why would Guiliani etc. want to go on XM satellite to drum up voter support?)
the point is there is no point.
OK then. I'll try to stop taking Dys seriously.
Sorry.
Back to the nonsense.....

good point
What would Imus say about all this?!

Imus would say about Dys that his Stetson is the only think keeping his head from flying off on his way to Pluto, which is the only planet with the welcom mat out for Dys.
BBB
actually we have a doormat in Raleigh that specifically says Welcome Dys on it.

Nothing to blush about. You can't get it if there's no "it" to get.

I wonder why it has my picture on it.
