Internet Explorer is Trying to Act As A Server

I use the free version of Zone Alarm as my firewall, and I am very happy with it. There is something very peculiar that happens under certain conditions.

Once in awhile, when I am attempting to click on a link to a video, Zone alarm will come up with this alert:

"Internet Explorer is Trying to Act As A Server"

I always deny it, and doing so does not appear to cause any problems. I get access to the video, nontheless.

What in blue blazes does that alert mean?

The message could be occuring because your ISP has tried to contact it in order to verify the computer's presence on the net.. Very few ISP's require the computer to act as a server.. So for Internet Explorer, you should open the ZA display panel, click on the 'Program Control' tab on the left, find Internet Explorer, click ONCE on the "Internet" listing beneath the "Server" column, choose "Block" (the red X). The warning pop up should no longer bother you.
