Deb - No? No fires??? Oh! I thought Margo was talking about them. Well, OK. You don't need our rain. Anyway, we're not having any at this precise and present moment.
Piffka's right - there are bushfires around Sydney. Deb lives about 1500 miles away, half across the continent. Out and about yesterday, the sky was that weird colour that you get when there's fires around. We've had no rain for months, and there are awful hot blustery winds. It looks cloudy today, but that doesn't necessarily mean rain.
Good weather for drinking - but it's 5.30am here
