Very Happy

Some Guys Have All The Luck is one of my favorites too. Downtown Train, Broken Arrow, Having A Party, Your Song, Young Turks are also great. How do you find his new CDs? I like his interpretation of It's A Wonderful World and Have You Ever Seen The Rain?

I like his version of "Reason to Believe" better than just about anyone else's. Such a pretty song.

I don't know who else sang that one, but I like all the versions that Rod sang. Laughing

Yeah, I like Rod a lot!

Seems like he would be a fun guy to have a couple of beers with!

I saw him live a while back and for an older guy, he can still put on
quite a show! He loved to kick soccerballs into the audience!

Don1, I really like that video too. Laughing

There is a performance that he did that is very good, and that's "Some Guys Have All The Luck" in the DVD "It Had To Be You". I have not found it on YouTube. The one they have (I don't know if they still have it) is an old one and not nearly as good.

Actually it is funny because that DVD is to promote his Great American Songbook, but the 9 bonus videos are what I like the most (Rod is wearing a very nice pink jacket). You should see him performing "Downtown Train" Very Happy .

I hope you already have that DVD, otherwise it is a very good buy. I only paid $10.

This morning, I heard "You Wear it Well" and I had to wait in the car until it was done. There aren't a lot of songs that I do that with any more. But I just love this line:
"Think of me and try not to laugh."

I love it when you have to sit in the car until the song is over.

It puts a bounce in your step.

I love the old-school Gasoline Alley vintage Rod Stewart.

If you're in the U.S. you can listen to quite a few tracks through this
