Open your Yahoo! mail page. Above "Inbox", find and click "Folders ... (Add-Edit)". A page will open listing all your folders, offering for each folder the options to rename or delete the folder. Before a folder can be deleted, it must be empty, so open any folder you wish to get rid of and make sure you've cleared its contents before attempting to delete the folder.
