I was thinking, "As far east as can be, yet still west of the Mississippi," didn't make a whole lot of sense for Omaha.

It moved me back to NE several times...I think it finally took.

---------

I live just north of the actual bootheel of MO, but the entire area is called the Bootheel region. The river makes a huge bow around the county I live in...oddly enough named Mississippi Co....so if you are standing in the center of the county, the river is in three directions.

If you look at a US map, you will see that this part of MO is bulging out towards the east...if not for the cutting power of the Ohio, I would actually live in KY. The Ohio, which is the more powerful of the two rivers, drew the Mississippi {which was 20 miles west of me} to where they meet now, about 20 miles to the east of me.

Anyway, only at the very end of the river, SE of New Orleans, is the river any further east of us.

Well, it put the first part of mine, which is with a very common free email place, right up there in big fat letters.

I'm not particularly paranoid, and regard all here as pals, except possibly for Anonymous, but it annoyed me, since I only maintain two addresses for quite a few uses.

Oh, and the way I deleted my membership involved finally reading the email they sent to me, with my profile ok, and password. So, I think you have do have a real email if you want to have, ah, some control.
