I meant to look up the lyrics yesterday when they were fresh in my head. Now they're gone.
Heard a song on the radio...it's one I've heard in the past, not a new one, I don't think.
Something about 2 people leaving everything behind and living life on the highway.
Also in the song, something about leaving in the night and leaving the kids behind. When they woke up they were gone.
They're out there but they don't know where they're going.
The music, to me it sounded like something from a Quentin Tarintino film, if you know what I mean. Those great old songs that perfectly fit the mood.
It had a kind of Mexican/Spanish flavor to the guitar.
I guarantee you are talking about 'The Way' by Fastball - great song
This is it on youtube.
YES YES YES!!!
That's it!
That video's great, the clothes, the hair on the "groovy chicks", the spanish dancers.
That's exactly how I was feeling when I heard it.
Thanks Hingehead.
