It is exciting indeed! Congratulations to you and your husband, Bella.
Children are such an enrichment in ones life, and you'll experience
this from day one. Welcome to (be) parenthood!

Can you make it till August 27th? Laughing

Bella, I told you this would happen if you stopped taking those contradictives!

As far as names are concerned, I would be honoured if you would make use of either one of my middle names.

Marmaduke.
or
Effingham.

Yes, because it's very rare for people to get pregnant these days. My girlfriend gets pregnant every month, and she also takes fun monthly little tumbles down stairs too.

Congrats Bella.

Oh I just lapped up that sarcasm.

I merely meant that Ive been on forums for years and not heard of anyone getting pregnant, then 2 in one day!!

Congratulations, Bella Dea!

So, have you registered yet on Babycenter.com for the week-by-week updates? My husband & I had really enjoyed those, spent many hours chortling over how the baby was raspberry-sized, now walnut-sized and now avocado-sized.

Also, if you sign up on AmericanBaby.com (I'm pretty sure that's the address for the magazine), you get a year-long free subscription. I enjoyed thumbing through the (free) mag while b/freeding M, coz you can say good-bye to reading real books for a while now.

Not so, fair matron.

Two pound tomes are out, but much of the literary world is available in paperback, waiting for the nursing mother at the 2 a.m. feed.

True, Noddy. I guess I was lucky that my daughter & I, right from the start, both slept during the 2 a.m. feedings. And the 12 midnight, and the 4 a.m. and the 6 a.m. feeds. Smile
I was so very glad that I had completed Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince just days before M was born. And the Hardcover version too! (They're a little more fun than paperbacks, but I'm prob'ly weird.)

Oh, Bella Dea - in case you're a victim of the the dreaded morning sickness (for some it's all-day sickness ... like me) - babiesrus has these interesting lollipops called Preggie Pops. I can recommend the citrus flavors - they helped me.
