Best - (Besides the obvious family) New job that I love! love! love! and wouldn't leave even if I won the lottery (per previous post on another thread!)

My parents are coming for Christmas!

Kids and Bear haven't institutionalized me yet.

Worst - Giving up Ire to move to new house. I miss that pup and his ability to jump flat footed over the back of the sofa, and eat the leg of an expensive leather chair, and run full speed into my shin when I got home and... Crying or Very sad

Mame - {{{{Hugs}}}} We lost a grandaughter to SIDS a few years back. My heart goes out to you.

Thank you, ladies. It was a tough year, as you can imagine - squinney, thank you for sharing that. Oliver died of SIDS, too, as did my eldest daughter. But. Colour is back in our lives and we're no longer crying at the drop of a hat. Lots of good things to celebrate, and A2K is one of them. That and quitting my job Very Happy Very Happy I'm so happy I could dance!

Some people here will not be able to post, for feeling overwhelmed with nothing good to add.

I'll be glad to add for all of us there, some of or most of the time, the bits of joy.

Most of us can't mark every year with major milestones.

Still, two, three and four carat diamonds--smaller and larger, if you like--can be very memorable.

I've been shopping for some wine to bring over to benoutwitted's house on New Year's Eve.

I've been told there is a party there.

Sorry to hear that Phoenix. My family had a relative who recently had that. the outcome was not positive in his case. I hope it is with your husband's.

Congrats to your son, phoenix, and best wishes and fingers crossed for your husband. Really, I wish you the best of the best of the best with that, and a very positive 2007.

Need to add another worst:

My Dad is dying of cancer and failing fast. I'm going to get up early and take his old dg (Bumble) for a nice long walk to her favourite place... I know that will make my Dad happier and more content, to know his dogs okay. He'll ask after the dig first... and then my Mum.
