ever heard those ads that say "our prices are so low that we can't say what they are on TV"...as if there is some kind of regulation against saying how cheaply you will sell something. What on Earth are they talking about?

Some vendors include in their retail agreement a "Minimum Advertized Price" clause; a retailer advertizing a lower price will not qualify for vendor-paid cooperative advertising funding, and in some instances may jeopordize the dealer agreement through which the retailer is permitted to obtain, represent, and sell the product.
