!

(I read Setantas's initial posting to Mrs. SealPoet. When I told her the bit about you being 22, she said 'She is not!'

but she generally doesn't respect 22 year olds...

Happy birthday, dear.)

Hey there to Mr. and Mrs. SealPoet. SP, you tell Mrs. SP the garden's green and things are good and I barely feel 22 (well, Setanta won't let me touch any 22 year-olds Evil or Very Mad ).

Miss ya guys, and hope to see you again Very Happy

i thought this was an awfully apt pic of the twos of yous

errrrrr, i've completed 4 of them, and eaten 3 of them before i finished the recipes (those were all parm variations that were scrumptious - those cooks are amazing!) The best was Baigan Choka

Quote:
This is an east indian recipe for rosted eggplant called Baigan Choka

make several incisions in large egplant and fill with cloves of garlic (for garlic lovers put as many as can fit)Roast in oven or preferably on grill low heat until skin is charred and flakes off easily about 45 mins. Remove skin and using a fork mash flesh and garlic ,of course, season with diced onion, salt, pepper, ground roasted cumin hot peppers if u like it hot.Heat 1/4 c vegetable oil and pour over mixture (this is known as chunke)it will sizzle!

Serve with nan bread

EhBeth !!!

I have no trouble at all believing that you're all of 22. Myself, I no longer celebrate birthdays. I celebrate anniversaries of birthdays. Thus, last year I celebrated the 30th anniversary of my 34th birthday. It's one way of not actually getting any older.

Fröliches Geburztag!!!

"Belated Birthday Limerick"

I would have sent you my wishes
For a birthday fun and delicious
But my old cerebellum
Forgets what I tell 'im
I hope I'm not food for the fishes!

Piffka, it was a longish day. Work and all <sigh>. The weekend was nice. Setanta was here for a few days, hamburger and mrs. hamburger were here for a day and a half, Setanta and I did manage to get together with Ginny/longdog for a longish lunch, we 'did' the Danforth on Saturday night. I had ordered 2 cakes from a friend who is a private chef - AWESOME! The doggies were in paradise - the big hunter and oma and opa were here - there was a trip to the beach, a trip to the ravine and lots of car-rides, in addition to many secret treats. A perfect weekend to be a doggie at this house!

g'day, msolga! thanks for your good wishes. the tattoo's healing nicely. hmmmmm, forgot to have Setanta take a photo. We were a bit busy looking at pix of Bailey and Cleo on the digi-cam - forgot to take new pix, and forgot to upload those!

Thank you again!

monsignor andre: i am feeling very jacob two-twoish these days. 22 + 22 + 2, but i don't repeat it over and over as jacob felt inspired to do.

here's to wishing you a fine 35th anniversary of your 30th! ( a little gift from the linguist online )
