Man, this really IS an edymacational forum. All of a suddink I know all about adenoids. Until today I thought that word was part of an adjective phrase that had something to do with a former German chancellor with the first name of Conrad.
Now that Gus has only seven teeth left, he has been recruited to do TV commercials.
What he doesn't mention, is that the remaining seven have been ground down to nubs.

It's still quite fashionable to remove tonsils and adenoids -- I've had to fight rather hard for sozlet's. (She still has them, for now, and hopefully the damn adenoid will start atrophying any day now...)
