... but perhaps that of the place from where you post

We discussed on a different thread the vitriol which is spread sometimes anonymously, hidden behind a screenname, on the internet.

So, why not describe where we are, actually now, when posting here?

"Tell them where you sit and they'll tell you who you are."

Since can't write other than in huge coloured letters, or use funny looking word abbreviations, or English isn't their mother language, or they can't write as prosaic as most others here - post a photo or two.
(Since all of above applies to me, I'll post more than one photo as well Laughing )

To cut a long story short

I'm sitting here

Walter, that is the tidiest study I've ever seen! Not a speck of dust anywhere! Wow!

Ok, then. Here's a description of my pc room.

It faces North and I have two windows with ugly Venetian blinds. The other window faces the golf course.

My pc sits atop a very battered desk, and to my left is a metal file cabinet upon which is a printer.

I have a sliding glass door which partitions my room from the den. On my right, against the wall is four shelved bookcase with my choice of books that I have read and love. Above it is an original painting done by my oldest sister, of a ghost lady on a park bench among lovely flowers done in impressionistic style.

On the East wall is another original painting done by her also, of a view from her knoll of the family farm.

Nothing else in this room except a futon. Should I go on?

Well, it's used as our guestroom as well (some know it personally  ) ... and Mrs. Walter is only away since Friday Laughing

My favourite wall, looking over the monitor

Walter, I got carried away looking at your pictures. Is that tall piece of furniture called an amoire? Love your house, buddy, and msolga is right. It's too clean for all practical purposes. Razz

I suppose, one could call it such - we used it at first for storing towels and linnen, now it's just another wardrobe ... for storing magazines, photos etc.

That is my computer monitor and part of the desk, by phone camera, and the ceiling light.

Looks like a Vermeer. I don't mean the screen on the monitor; I mean the photo...

I've just a blue screen - and don't see that besides when starting/shutting down

Apropos 'looking' - I actually only made those pics because I posted "my autumn view" on the German thread
