i'm struggling to find a good book to read. i searched through my local library and asked everybody i know for recommendations but to no avail.
so i thought to myself, let's start a thread where it's kind of an online book club. if we can't find anything good to read we ask for suggestions and then we can give feedback on our opinions of different books and hey, we might learn something new on the way.
so, what could i read next?

What are you 'in to'?

...and what part of Wales are you from?

PS Just read Margrave of the Marshes - highly recommend.

Perhaps you could mention a few of the books you've really enjoyed, rockie. That might help us make a few suggestions.

If I tell you my favourite books, I might be off your taste by miles...

Whoops!

I didn't intend to call you "rockie", rockpie.
The "p" just sort of disappeared! Confused
No offence meant.

well i really enjoyed angels & demons by dan brown, also his dark materials by phillip pullman and the bartimaeous trilogy by jonathan stroud, i have also read in the past things like lord of the rings and a few ben elton books....

no offense taken, mistakes are easily made.

James Patterson.

Quick, easy, entertaining reads.

The movies "Along Came a Spider" and "Kiss the Girls" were made from his books.

...
i personally also like the other Dan Brown books:
The DaVinci Code
Digital Fortress
deception Point
it depends on your age group and likings actually, but i don't think you've 'not' read this: Harry Potter volumes.
you don't seem to be a kid so definately wont recommend goosebumbs but i will recommend Christopher Pikes Novels(of course i'm not guessing you haven't read them)
if your into it...Nora Roberts isnt' soo bad(not my fav thought)
if you are looking for self help books:
read "the seven habits of highly effective people'' ''...of teenagers'' and other seven habits... ''Lost in the Cosmos is great''
if your into astrology go for Linda Goodman... she's awesome!

hope that helped a little
