I actually never saw the fastination with them. Maybe I didn't get far enough into them before I gave up. I've loved Mark's short story's but I felt he just sort of got bogged down in the length when he went for long. I don't know maybe I didn't give him a fair enough shot. I'll try again since you brought it up.
