I'm searching for a unique domain name to use as a photoisland type of site.
Requirements:
1. .com (only)
2. available to register (not purchase from someone)
3. short name easy to remember
4. name will not compete with the below (I mean not to close of a name)
names I've come-up with that are not available:
digitalgallery.com
digitalpulse.com
digitalworks.com
photogalleria.com
photomill.com
digitalvillage.com

you get the drift?
thanks

You probably won't find a domain with that criteria.

You have to drop the .com or the short requirements.

Use this site: http://www.nameboy.com for suggestions. It's like a domain name thesaurus.

I strongly recommend against publically asking for domain name suggestions as domain name poachers and squatters will snap them up.

I don't have any suggestions (I strongly doubt that you will find a .com with that criteria) but if anyone does I suggest you have them email you.

The shorter the better. :-)

Look, I just got a 7 letter domain name (.com).

Thing is, it's not really just the size it should be a word as well.

If I were you I'd not try to go for a keyword domain (e.g. one that has photo or digital) but rather try for an easily branded name.

Try a mix of letters until you get a short one (something like waaboo.com) that is brandable and easily remembered.

Try out namebot (the link I gave earlier) and if they don't help I can give you some keyword thesauri.

Looks propogated here. I'm seeing banner title and a sillhoutte of an old style camera on a tripod with a photographer ducked under the covering and a bit of film strip draped across the page.
