Is it time for A2K to intervene on behalf of Calamity Jane?

I picked up some herring and rye bread, and put them together with the beets and pickles and apples and potatoes and, well, it's nearly time for lunch

Look here, Pratzelhofer, I've just heard that CJ has been doing her bit to guard my impressive yet vulnerable nether regions while I've been looking the other way, this weekend.

So...in return for her act of valour, I have just consumed a very large plateful of that red fishy stuff, accompanied by four very cold Lagers, flown in directly from the Pissensloch region of Germany.

It has all gone down very well, and apart from the odd tummy grumbles and having to run outside in order to pebbledash the side wall an impressive shade of pink, I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Thank you, Jane.

Take no notice of him, or start your very own thread for grouchy people with German sounding names, who have no regard for proper food.

'Scuse me, I have to run.......................

If your herring is bad, you can be helped with a state of the art herring aid:

Have another beer, deer, aehm dear. It's Oktoberfest time!
We eat a lot of smoked Makarels on a stick then....

Miss Letty, I love anchovies too, especially with Caesar salad and
on Pizza.
