Smog

I've recently discovered the singer Smog (Bill Callahan), and I've bought his two most recent albums. They're fantastic.

Does anyone else on here like him?

Is he well known at all in America? He's been around for ages, but I hadn't heard of him until I saw him mentioned in an interview with Final Fantasy (Owen Pallett). As far as I can tell, he's pretty much unknown in the UK.

Can anyone advise me as to which album(s) I should buy next? I already have Supper and A River Ain't Too Much to Love.
