Yeah, these are the same people that will actually spread Velveeta on bread and convince themselves that it's a cheeze sandwich. (I'm still trying to figure out what they put in Velveeta besides snails and puppy-dog's tails.)

Totally agree with CJ re: American beer. Disagree with Farmer (and that's unusual) -- I don't find Hillshire Farms kielbasa that bad at all. But, then, I like garlic.

Can we at least narrow the bber hating to American mainstream beers? The big sellers like budwieser and miller? There are, in my opinion, many great microbrews here.

Ok, I'll hedge a little on that. American beer isn't necesarily garbage. Maybe it's just poor taste or something but certainly all the top selling brands are not even worthy of being criticized. They are piss, plain and simple. Some of the lesser-known brands, e.g. Anchor Steam out of SF, aren't too terribly bad and some microbrews are actually potable.
