Glad to hear its all ok, Lord E....

On the gown though...like someone else mentioned, get two. And...when the nurse mocks you by telling you they've seen them all, just remind her that she's never seen YOURS....and would like to keep it that way...lol

No shiver, England has socialized healthcare, they only get one gown,
and that's probably worn out and torn already.

Spanky, I am glad you're on top again - being in good spirit is most
important and we're all rooting for you: to your health!!

I was feeling so relieved and happy that nothing major was wrong with our dear Ellpus that I decided to buy him a gift. And I knew just what to get him. I didn't realize they were having a big sale today, though. It took me an hour to find a parking place, then I had to fight through a rather vicious crowd.

What kind do you think he would prefer?

Littlek! I am ashamed of you!

That's a spatula, for heaven's sake! It's a plastic replica of one on display at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

This thread has suddenly become the height of arousal.

I shall now limp to the medicine chest, to find some of those little blue pills so I can make the most of it, for as long as possible.

Eva - how in the world did that thing flip anything?

LordE - you're in recovery, don't hurt yourself!

EDIT: I see, it's a scraping spatula, not a flipping spatula.

How could I take a photograph of your bottom wthout only one garment?

Eh?

Or should that read "if you were wearing two?"

I qualify for a free yearly mammogram and I can choose the hospital, so of course I go to the nicest. They give you a very lovely silk/cotton kimono type garment and you get to choose white, black or pink. Of course, in America we do not have socialized medicine Crying or Very sad and I only qualify because I keep my income very low (partially for this very reason) and I'm educated enough to fill out all the paperwork and manage my why through the labyrinth of a screwed up system to get some basic medical care. The other people in this medical center are the best insured in the country and thus their high premiums allow for them to have a nice robe, so if you are very rich or very poor (and educated) you get a nice garment. I have no idea what the middle class get here, probably a paper gown or something like the socialist schmata Lord E. was stuffed into. Maybe there is a compromise between the two systems.
