Quote:Ice Cream Truck Stolen At Gunpoint
'A distinct lack of Good Humor as an ice cream truck gets a frosty reception from a carjacking customer.'
Indianapolis, IN -- Police in Indianapolis are looking for a carjacker who may have a sweet tooth.
That's after an ice cream truck was stolen at gunpoint last night by a man who had just ordered a bubble-gum-flavored snow cone.
The husband and wife who operate the Summer Song truck say the man held them hostage for about 30 minutes while they drove around Indianapolis. He then ordered them out of the truck and drove away.
In addition to the ice cream, police say there was about $125 in the truck.
The company's general manager says he can't understand why someone would steal an ice cream truck, unless he had a sweet tooth.
I come up with all the important stories - the ones you just can't afford to miss.
Hey, if this is the only way to get rid of that god-awful music,
then more power to the guy.

I know what you mean! We have the trucks come into our townhouse complex and it drives me nuts!
That's what they get for not carrying Dreamcicles anymore.
Kind of reminds me of growing up in the late '60s. Guy gets on a Greyhound (that's a bus), pulls a gun, and says "Take it to Cuba."
We didn't have ice cream trucks around for years... and now one comes through my neighborhood here. I actually like the music: it must be nostalgia getting to me.
