Excuse me for enjoying this. I squawked about one photo out of about seven - or was it more - days of my photo being taken by a giant lens, and caused many thread pages - for which I admit responsibility - of mostly approbation to me. Though, oddly enough, I appreciated the arguments by everybody who disagreed with me and agreed that I handled it quite badly. Still, I got shot as having low self esteem, and so on. Would Georgia O'Keefe let a photo of her as a slob fly?

I still maintain it is courteous to be given a flick of a look first.

Whatever you folks decide on will be fine. I'll love you even as slobs in any case.

I'm confused, why does it have to be narrowed down to one measly photo?! I'd love to see as many as possible! Come on, throw a sop to all of us (me) who never get to meet anyone in real life!!

The eye of the photographer is a part of the picture.

There were only four photos taken. One by the barrista, one by me, two by Mo - and he's only five so one of those was out of focus.

Chant all you want. I won't be swayed. And neither should anyone else. Photos are very personal. The internet is not. Some people want their privacy and I won't violate that.

'Nuff said.

Could you do a little cropping and editing so whomever does not like their photo does not have to be in it?

Oh poo....they ALL look great.....I guess I just hadn't seen myself in a photo for quite some time. and in one of them I started wondering just HOW MANY chins I had.

Actually, I'm going to use that one as an inspiration for "all new Chai in an all new year" project.

I don't intend to be a new Chai (I just don't have the t*ts for that), but a photo posted here was definitely an inspirational factor in getting my ass and accompanying parts to belly dance class three hours a week.

I almost posted the same thing yesterday. The resemblence is uncanny.

I hope I did not come across as pushy. It is fun for many of us to see what the other posters look like. I understand concerns for privacy but I felt that if we didn't show our interest we might miss a chance to see a photo.
