littlek,
I think boomerang was the only one with a camera. She said she would post photos when she got back home to Oregon.
Boomerang posted on a thread yesterday. Are you ready to post photos yet, Boomerang?
Oh come on, give the woman some space ...
Yeah! I am home!
I have seven CDs crammed with photos and I have barely started reviewing them. We only had a few taken (and some of those by Mo (who is a pretty good photographer ((but he is only five)))) at the meet up and I will have to find them and get premission before posting anything.
It was really fun meeting Chai and remeeting shewolf. I wish I'd had more time to spend with them. Let me tell you -- they are wonderful women.
Good times.
Oh, make sure you show the photo mo took of your ass.
that was funny.
Now I'm getting interested, Chai Tea!

Mr. B was there?!?!?!?
(With apologies to Mr. B. I'm sure he's a fine fellow, but I couldn't resist.)
so I heard there's a reason to hang out here ...
Thanks for bumping this up, bethie. Good thing we weren't holding our breath(s).
Yes, ehbeth.
(I have been bothering boomerang all morning about posting the photos. She is "freeing up disk space" and "defragging" in order to upload the photos.)
I'm telling the truth!
My computer shows 325MB of free space. Every time I open a photo and try to crop it or save it or anything my computer says it can't do it.
This defrag thing says it needs 15% of C drive space to operate correctly and it can only access 3% of mine. (So this could take a while.)
It won't even run my CD burner anymore so I had to dig out some old zip drives and copy a bunch of stuff onto there.
Honestly, outside of photoshop I don't know anything about computers. I have only a few photos even left on it now - there isn't anything else on my computer.
Seriously, I don't know what is taking up my hard drive.
I believe you, boomer. Have you started a thread about this over on the Computers forum? I'm sure some of our technical whizzes can talk you thru this.
Maybe I will post something in the computer forum.
<sigh>
I really don't understand how taking so much stuff off still leaves me with no space.
I have a new computer in the works but Mr. B is really busy and hasn't had much time to get it all jiggered around.
you need to stop downloading all that porn babygirl, look what it's doing to your memory!
have you emptied your temporary internet folders and cookies lately? that'll make your computer run really slowly if you don't.
emptied your trash?
run virus scans?
run trying to think of the usual suspects.
Yep.
Yep.
Yep.
Yep.
I've done all of that.
I posted a question about it so maybe I'll get something figured out.
I am trying my best!
I just ran another defragmentation thingy and I'm getting closer to having the available space to actually save a photo so that I can post it somewhere so that I can post it here.
It's probably going to be tomorrow before I can do any photo work - even simple photo work.
My computer is a superfund site - the frikken Exxon Valdez of cyberspace. I swear this thing is making me nuts. But I have gone from 4% free space to 14% free space so I'm doing better.
All I do is photoshop, check mail and blab on A2K. You'd think I'd have some pristine hard drive but Noooooooooo
There seems to be some difference of opinion on which photo is worth posting.....
The one I took, and therefore do not appear in, seems to be everyone's favorite. I'm not entirely sure that's fair. But I have, on another thread, posted a recent photo of myself in a swimsuit so.......
I dunno.......
