smorgs- Hey, that is what we are here for. Everybody has crappy days, and it is good to ventilate. I think that when things are going badly, one tends to become enmeshed in the sturm und drang of it.

It is a good think to get feedback from others, for a number of reasons. Often when things are going badly, there is the feeling that you are alone in your misery. By other people sharing their stories, it can evoke a commonality that makes what you are going through more bearable.

Also, it gives the local wags the opportunity to trot out some of their better comebacks!

So, see...you're spreading goodness all over the place. Smile

(i also do a pretty mean clown dance if throwing pennies at someone cheers you up)

Gad, yess!! In 1945, Japan formally surrendered to the Allies on August 13th. It just boggles the mind if any or at all.

I prefer playing Boggle to boggling the mind.

I don't look so good when I'm cross-eyed.

Merry Andrew--

I never thought of you as a man with limited vision.

Formal surrender of the Japanese is only one August 13.

According to Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_13

August 13 is a Date with a Past and people like Smorgs will provide that past with a glorious future.

Each time I see the title of this thread, I misread it as "will someone cheer me on", and I come in to find out what sporting event smorgs has entered.

Cheer me on then, I have a face pack on and I'm just about to pluck the eyebrows...

I'm all pink and scrubbed!

It's one of those 'peel off' things (an ethical one), but I can never leave it on quite long enough to get the full 'peel' effect, so you will have to distract me for at least 15 mins, then I shall peel it off and there will be a new me underneath!

Anyone want to feel how silky smoooooth my legs are?

...not to mention me pits

Ehbeth, you just made me go and fish the packet out of the bathroom bin, the contents of which were making me smile:

Q - tips, or cotton buds as we call them in the civillised world

Lightbulb

Ice lolly wrapper

Chocolate wrapper (red bounty)

No floss as the cat is busy 'killing' it in the hall

and this:

Marks and Spencer Formula - peel off face mark with grape anit-oxident

It says it provides 'total revitalisation'

I'm tapping a pink slippered foot in anticipation...
