When the biggest disagreement on A2K was a political difference with a moderate conservative. The wave of religious lunatics and nut cases infesting A2K now makes earlier times seem like a land of milk and honey.
Yeah, but it makes for some absolutely hilarious postings.
G'day, Wilso. How you doing, mate?
Somehow I feel your standards for labeling a person a religious lunatic or nut case are not even moderately conservative.

That's maybe because I'm not a conservative.

I'm doing quite well, thankyou very much. And yourself?
I'm just trying to get through the brutally hot Summer here while you shiver and wish that December were here.

I'm off to Thailand again in three weeks. And I'll be spending quite a bit of time in the northeast. It's a weather experience that's difficult to forget!

My membership here was transferred from Craven's MSN site, so I never actually signed up here. If, when signing up, you have to enter your full name, then the mods may be able to track down the username from that information.
thanks, good point. well, i'll wander around the sight - i know i did a few posts and answered questions and stuff, so its just about looking into 2005. unless my account was deleted or something...

I worked there about 15 years ago and hardly saw anything.

To visit my fiance. I've got a 10 day roster at the end of the month, and I picked up a really good airfare (with Thai airways) so I thought "why not". I've actually want to meet some of her family. Her mother lives in a north eastern city (Sisaket) which doesn't have an airport, so I'll be having my first long bus trip. About 7 hours worth from Bangkok. I'm looking forward to it. It's good to get away from the tourist areas and see the real people.
Actually fm, I was thinking about you when we were cave kayaking down south in February. Limestone caves with some really interesting formations. I think you with your training in that area would really appreciate it.
wow, I used to love going caving . I enjoy hearing about anything that has to do with them. Id seen some very clear cave springs down in Florida . In some of them you almost didnt notice that theywere filled with water.
Wetre the caves connected so that you could kayak between them?

Yep. We'd have to lay down to get through some, and then we'd be surrounded by cliffs, then through another one. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that we had a guide doing the paddling. I would have loved to have done it myself. It's late here now, but tomorrow evening I'll try to post a couple of the pics I took.
neat. Look forward to them
