New York, NY -- A New York City socialite who married into one of America's most legendary families is now reportedly living in squalor at the age of 104. And her only child is accused of being responsible.

Brooke Astor was once the toast of the town. She married Vincent Astor, the great-great-grandson of John Jacob Astor, who was the wealthiest man in America by 1840.



But in court papers cited by the New York Daily News, it's revealed that the elderly multi-millionaire now wears torn nightgowns and sleeps on a couch that reeks of urine.

Astor's grandson filed the papers, which accuse his father of being to blame. He says his grandmother has had her health and safety ignored, while his father enjoys the millions.

To back up the charges, he has sworn statements from some other big names, including former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
