Bring me paw paws in a paper poke
Send me money darling when I'm broke
Make your will out to me when you croke
You belong to me

@glitterbag,
My son heard Homer & Jethro's version of I want to hold your hand, by the Beatles. He thought it was a scream, it's not my fav, but they were fantastic musicians. Plus they could make you laugh.

We're the boys from camp Kookamonga
Our mothers sent here fer to study natures ways
We learned to make sparks by rubbing sticks together,
And if we catch some girls we will set the woods ablaze

@glitterbag,
There was a smart guy from the city
And he picked up a striped kitty,
He's moving on
We held ours nose while we burned his clothes
He's moving on

@panzade,
I'm negotiating with my brother who took all the 78's when I had to settle my parents estate. Dad had a collection of novelty records, and some of them are Les Paul & Mary Ford, singing off tune. They do a version of "it's magic" that's just wonderful. The novelty records were not widely distributed, so even better.
