I had him/her figured for Canadian.
Didn't 'get' the song you played.

@neko nomad,
This video contains content from INgrooves, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.

Got this instead of a video.

@edgarblythe,
Damn. Moneygrubbers strike again - after 60+ years, doesn't public domain mean anything anymore?

I don't believe this is the same Vaughn Monroe record I recall. But it has been a while. My memory could be faulty.

Live performance by Vaughn. I just heard clapping at the end.

@edgarblythe,
The arrangement's nearly identical, though . Thanks for the update on an old favorite. These old ASCAP products are truly museum pieces now.

Wonder how much a vinyl single would cost today if the same production standards were to be used.

@neko nomad,
I have about a thousand vinyl albums, still. I don't know if I have Vaughn's Ghost Riders in there. It was part of my collection, but I've lost more than half for varying reasons.

@edgarblythe,
Thirty-five years ago, I was convinced Ramblin' Jack was 70. That would make him 105 now.

@plainoldme,
Don't know his age, but he rambles still, in his own doddering way.

@edgarblythe,
Love that one by Elvis, edgar. What a story it DOES tell.

Nope, not Paul Revere and the Raiders, but....
