Current weather forecast: 31-35 degrees celsius (or 88-95 fahrenheit).

I'm sweltering in here, and am not allowed by the doctor to go outside or walk -- when maddeningly, there's a ventilator waiting for me in another apartment, I just hadnt gotten to bringing it here before I went into the hospital Tuesday.

It'll only get worse... by Tuesday, it should be 34-37 degrees celsius (or 93-99 Fahrenheit) Shocked

Hospital?

Shocked

Are you ok?

Dont worry, guys, I'm fine, thanks for the concern!

Just spent an experimental two and a half days in a Hungarian state hospital this week - but it wasnt half as bad as I thought / had been told it would be. Went there because I had a bunch of (apparently enormous) polyps and the odd thyst (sp?) inside my nose, and they really had to come out now.

Full anastheasia, so I didnt feel a thing, and the two days they kept me in afterwards came with painkillers. Now I'm home and I'm not to go outside for a couple days, not to go to work for another week, and not to do a list of other things, and its swelteringly hot, so I'm mostly sweating, but otherwise I'm perfectly fine.

Now if I only could get my hands on that fan (fan, thats the word - the English word for ventilator) - which is in another apartment, that I cant go to because I'm not to go outside - I'd be awright.

Oh, dear, well, glad that's over with, but for the sweating. Frustrating about the fan...

Nimh--

Americans prefer to grow our polyps in our colons. It is MUCH more convenient.

One thing I have noticed in this Austin summer, is that now I dont use the television anymore, it doesnt SEEM as hot outside.

There is something to knowing that it is 100+ that just bakes your brain even in the AC.
But with out prior knowledge to the outside temp, it seems to be just another day... and not just another ,dreadful hot ass ,bake your feet on the concrete, summer day.

It has cooled considerably since a couple of days ago, and the forecast is for cooler climates during the next week.

We're back into the upper 90s for the next few days. We just about melted at last night's outdoor concert.

I assume you are speaking of the inside temperature, dys.

That doesn't count. Air conditioning is for wussies.
