Finding Source of Image

Is there a way of finding the source of an image that has been already re-sized, and re-named?

Thank you

You can only try to find the original - online with a search engine, if it's from a book with a database, some libraries have (online as well).

Is a lousy job, since you have to describe the pic the way it has been posted origianally and/or know, in what kind of book, magazine etc it might have been printed first.

This photo, for instance, can be only tracked back to the publication where it was published before - since there are no other data, the date when taken nor the original source/photographer can be found.

Imagine, you see that without the threat around it ...

The person found it on the net, and gave it to me. It could come from adobe homes. It has an adobe simple balcony with a great mountain background view. I want to use it but, I would like to know if it's from New Mexico, Taos, or where.

Thank you anyway Walter.

Depends on how you look at it Laughing

Well, seriously, I just wanted to point out how difficult it is getting the original source of a photo ...
