If it hadn't been for Osso whacking me on the side of my head, I wouldn't have known I had a birthday thread started by my daughter, Butrflynet, in California.

These rascally kids just can't keep a secret. She was referring to my birthday thread last year when I insulted everyone who posted---just for the shock and awe of it. I decided to be sweet this year. Not as much fun.

I gave myself a 77th birthday present and replaced the dead water pump in my swamp cooler. Twas 90 degrees in my house. Now it is nice and cool, for which my dogs are greatful.
