I love eclairs (what are Dutch treats?)
x
(Dutch treats are no treats at all as everyone knows!)
I love flowers
I love gifts (giving and receiving)
I've never heard of the expression Dutch Treat - genuinely, I can't know EVERYTHING!
x
I love goulash
(Clary a Dutch treat is something special, as an experienced traveller, you should know that)
I love incredible surprises.
All things Dutch have a negative spin in English - it's a historical thing. A Ditch wife, for instance, is a bolster. Dutch courage, false courage. Dutch uncle, no uncle at all, just a pretend one. A Dutch treat is each for himself - very poor show!
I love jokes, especially ones about Dutch treats.
I used to do a column on English idioms, and have a whole section on Dutchness... and Frenchness
I love kitchen tables, old wood ones in farmhouse kitchens.
I love linguine (spelt right?)
I love moselle wine
(Spelling correct D/P if you meant pasta)
I love quenching my thirst with a cold beer
I love taking my time with things that are enjoyable.
