I saw him swinging from one incredibly huge amp to another in Biloxi a few decades ago. He must have had a pair of double thickness, insulated, calf length hunting socks crammed into his pants. It was the first thing I saw upon entering the Coliseum.

I have had this conversation with several people now. Diamond Dave is a filthy rich former rockstar, a legend, a no bullshit martial arts master and probably the greatest rock frontman ever.

He is also doing what he's always done best... f*cking with everyone in general, and also f*cking with those ass hole Van Halen brothers in particular. He's rich enough to do it on a grand scale and get it done on the Tonight Show.

Meanwhile Eddie sits in his room drunk and too stupid to realize that VH is **** without Dave, and not even at least passable without Sammy.

Dave on this Tonight Show clip may be a caricature, but it's of his own making and for his own amusement.

I like that.

I just caught up on Bertinelli/VH facts.

He had mouth cancer from smoking--and had part of his tongue removed--and then starting smoking again..... After a couple of decades of alcoholism and scaring Wolfgang--that seemed to be the last straw for her.

(He looks pretty rough lately Shocked )

They did look like sister and brother in the 80's-----and lived like sist4r and brother it seems in the 90's....

Boy, does this seem familiar.
