Robber was hit by two vehicles trying to get away.

South Salt Lake, Utah -- He was popped for stealing Pop-Tarts. Police report George King didn't get very far when he tried to swipe some Pop-Tarts from a Salt Lake City area convenience store. According to officers, King and the store clerk struggled, with the clerk ripping off his shirt.

Police say King made it out the door, but was hit by a pickup truck in the parking lot. Police say he got up and kept running -- into the path of a minivan. He tried running again, but was caught by officers. Police say King suffered only minor injuries and refused treatment. He was booked for investigation of robbery.
