What do you all think of Edgar Wallace?
I remember quite liking his books about 20 years ago, but recently I got some from a car boot sale and thought they were quite awful.
They seem so unrealistic, it's ridiculous.

What do you think?

He's a popular writer, but this doesn't mean he's a "good" writer.

His plots are sound, but his sentences are clumsy.
