Dropped Connections, how to reconnect?

I'm connected (wireless) to a DI-514 router and if I leave my computer on overnight, I would experience a dropped connection.

My question is how can I reconnect to the router?

Sometimes I'll try 'ipconfig /renew' and it doesn't work.

I've found the old "unplug the moden and plug it back in" trick usually works just fine.
