I'm trying to picture in my mind this silly joker positioning his foot in just the right place for a look-see. And he figured nobody would notice this amateur behaviour? Twit!

Man caught with shoe camera, apparently peering up skirts

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Not everyone has a lens on his shoe. So police say that's what got people suspicious after seeing Jeff William Jones at a county fair.

Jones, 45, was tackled by police Sunday after someone spotted him standing suspiciously close to a woman and he tried to flee. Police say they found a small camera strapped to Jones' waist with a wire running down his leg to his shoe, apparently for peering up skirts.

The witness "thought it was odd that the person appeared to have a video camera lens on his shoe," said Cal Expo Chief of Police Robert L. Craft.

Jones was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct, using a concealed camcorder for sexual gratification and resisting arrest, Craft said.
